About Nossa Data
We built the reporting platform we wished we had when we worked inside regulated industries.
We built the reporting platform we wished we had when we worked inside regulated industries.
ESG disclosure has become a regulatory obligation, not a voluntary exercise. Yet most compliance teams are still assembling their submissions from dozens of disconnected spreadsheets, inboxes, and legacy ERP exports - under pressure from deadlines that do not move.
Nossa Data was founded in 2021 to change that. We believe that accurate, auditable ESG reporting should not require a small army of analysts. Our platform replaces manual data collection workflows with structured, automated pipelines that produce disclosure-ready outputs aligned to GRI, SASB, TCFD, SFDR, and SEC Climate Disclosure standards.
We work with financial services firms, industrial manufacturers, utilities, and energy companies that face mandatory disclosure requirements and cannot afford errors in their filings. Nossadata is backed by BGF Ventures through a seed round investment.
Our values are not marketing copy. They are the principles that shaped every product decision we have made.
Regulatory filings carry legal weight. We prioritize data integrity and auditability in every layer of the platform, even when that means building slower.
SOC 2 Type II certified, with end-to-end encryption, role-based access controls, and data residency options for EU-regulated clients.
The platform does not just flag problems - it explains why a data point is non-compliant and provides framework-specific guidance on how to fix it.
Julianne Flesher and co-founder Dr. Priya Nair left their roles at a Tier 1 asset management firm after spending two regulatory cycles rebuilding ESG data pipelines from scratch. Nossa Data incorporated in Boston with seed funding to solve the problem at its root.
The initial product shipped with GRI and SASB mapping modules. Within 12 months, Nossa Data had onboarded its first 25 enterprise clients across financial services and industrials, all managing mandatory ESG filings.
Following the EU taxonomy and SFDR Article 8/9 rulemaking, Nossa Data launched dedicated modules for climate scenario analysis and principal adverse impact reporting, adopted by clients with EU-domiciled funds.
After the SEC finalized its climate disclosure rule, Nossa Data shipped automated scope 1, scope 2, and transition risk reporting aligned to the final rule requirements, along with XBRL export for machine-readable filings.
With the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive extending to mid-size companies, Nossa Data launched its CSRD double materiality module and expanded its Boston headquarters to accommodate a growing customer success team.
